Since 1996,
the Non-Profit Council of the Waltham West Suburban Chamber of Commerce
has provided technical assistance to Non-Profit organizations in the
city. The Council seeks to help stabilize Non-Profit services in the
Waltham area despite resource cutbacks over the coming decade.
The Council provides a myriad of services to non-profit organizations
including technical assistance workshops offered in everything from
board and staff development to marketing and fundraising.
Furthermore, the Council offers individual consulting services to
Non-Profit organizations, as well as referrals to interim professional
assistance and referrals to community leaders interested in serving
on boards. The Council also provides collaborative assistance in obtaining
surplus goods.
