As a result, it traces history through several architectural styles from Georgian to Victorian and Colonial Revival. Gropius is said to have been one of the most influential and innovative 20th century architects. The house was built with supplies from catalogues and building supply stores using the principles of the Bauhaus school and New England architectural traditions. |
